Who's the idiot who said uni life is slacker than A'level or O'level periods.Haven't been updating much about life. Because life in general, is just mad. I think so far for every week there is at least 1 presentation. And everyday seems like it's Alevels. I don't think the A's is as stressful as this either. I seriously can't wait for the holidays even if it is just a month. Maybe I overestimated myself. I shouldn't be joining 2 CCAs - and one I'm not even that interested in?
And so many things have happened just in the past.. 9 weeks?
A rollercoaster ride. That's my life in the past 2 months. Drama? Maybe. Unexpected? Crazy? Definitely. I'm a peace-loving person. I cannot take too much in such a short period of time haha. I need to regain my sanity.....
I used to be someone who can trust people easily but now? I feel like I've changed. It's sad, but I guess that's life. I've been sheltered for far too long. No wonder in PLMGS our school song mentioned 'oh when we leave these sheltering walls we go with fearlessness'. How true.. just that the fearlessness part was only momentary for me, heh.
Oh and during Thursday's TWC presentation on Nanotechnology - Prof said to the class I was the best speaker of the group surprise surprise of the century. But its all thanks to God because seriously without Him I could never have survived past weeks of presentations, quizzes and projects. I've been deliberating again and again to myself if I've made the right choice to enter into this school and course.... and I finally realized that I've been put here for a reason, and I won't give up until I find out what it is... Maybe I've found it, maybe I've not. But no matter what, I'll put my trust in Him and let Him lead me all the way through. I trust He'll bring me through and it'll be very dumb if I give up just like that.
But I know, I won't make STUPID decisions again. Its a promise I make myself, and I'll keep to it. I just need... more strength to go through all this. TWC report, article report, personal journal, LTB mid-term quiz next week... YES I can do it.
/pls ignore the ramblings above.

My life's a total mess.I need to clear things up. Get my priorities right. Make the correct decisions. Don't make silly mistakes.
Like today.
I made the most stupidest decision in my life. And I think I'll regret this for a long long time.
I miss those days before I entered S/MU. Everything's peaceful, everything's going fine, with you.... but now? Uni life's indeed crazy...

A\IESEC Jumps+ar+ Induction camp was CRAZY. There was really, really bad cross-dressing (and I mean really REALLY bad) and they were made to do all kinds of stuff that were..... so so wrong (seducing on a chair, pole-dancing.. and these 2 are very mild already) And after that wasBut my group people are fun... but too bad most of us from different universities. Networking was really fun. Then after the
And then we all decided to go home in the morning because we were too shag. LOL. Then after the 1 and a half hour train ride from Sembawang to Simei, I showered and went immediately to church. -.- Super duper shagged now. Just returned from lunch after church. And L\TB project's letter of intent is STILL not done properly. Sien. OK I cannot stand it anymore I shall take a NAP. Zzzzzz HOW. Come to SM\U I no life already. :(

SM\U is really starting to turn me into a SM\Ugger. -.- Activites are increasing, projects are piling up, class participation points is getting on my nerves (especially for FA class) and everything clashes with everything... I'm even having project meetings on a Sunday.... that's saying something....Got accepted into A\IESEC, but induction camp clashes with archery beginners' course.
I want to join kendo, but it clashes with SMUCF corporate meetings. And kendo's pretty strict about attendance and commitment - which is something I definitely can't give. Kendo's saturday trainings are sure to clash with archery too.
Conclusion? I'll join kendo or fencing next year instead. Hope they accept me.
And I'm seriously interested in rotaract's OCIP to rural china next summer. Always wanted to visit rural china and experience their lifestyle. Once in a lifetime's experience ;)
So many activities, so little time, so many projects, so many deadlines.
And I can't find my MComm books - seriously my school bookstore is cheating my feelings. When I asked for the books on Mon they tell me they are out of stock and to come back on Friday. When I did on Friday, and they say out of stock and that I should come back next week or find somewhere else. -.-||| And I have a test - a writing assignment next Wednesday which requires me to READ the text. How to when I don't have the books :(
RAHHHH. SM\U should be called STRESSFUL MAN! university.
Anyway I like the SM\U library. Very conducive to sleep.

HAPPY NINETEENTH BIRTHDAY DEAREST CHAOTABEAN!! :DDDLove you love you love you! We've known each for .. let's see, 6 years and COUNTING! So happy that we're still in touch and meeting up regularly ;) Thank God I met you in GB through Jess, if not life would be really different w/o ya :) God bless you dearr.. and hope you enjoyed our celebration just now.. there's even Part2 on Wednesday, LOL - but I have kendo on that day.. hopefully I can rush down after my class yeah!
Slept like at 7am this morning and woke up at 1230pm - but celebration for Wendy went pretty well yay! First we drove over to her place at 12am midnight and surprised her with a POWERPUFF GIRLS birthday cake. Then we fetched her back to Weilin's place and had chocolate fondue, card games and played pool from like 12am to 4am before driving out to east coast park. Played sparkles, but aiya our fireworks didn't work in the end -.- But the sky was amazing that night, full of glittering stars.... Sat on the rocks, chat chat, enjoyed the seabreeze before heading back at like 6am. Oh I finally saw Zorro after so longgg... he's grown so big and handsome! LOL huskies are like that I guess - they grow super fast.
And yesterday afternoon was SM/U CCA Day.. quite happening. LOL put my name down in alot of mailing lists but I think the ones that I'm most prolly following up on are CF, Rotaract, Kendo, Archery and Recreational Fishing hee. Maybe AIESEC, but not really sure what it is about though, lol. Ah.... and there are many many projects coming up. Feeling stressed but still am in holiday mood though :( Gotta wake myself up.....-slap slap-

Been AGES since I updated. Not that I'm lazy, I've been updating in another more private blog instead. Too many thoughts they are driving me MAD.Anyway school has STARTED. Oh gosh I can't believe I survived the first 2 days. 1st class was Leadership and Teambuilding (LTB) and I LOVE my group yay. Thank GOD (: First lesson and we have an impromptu presentation already - this proves how different SM/U is right? LOL. But this class is FUN I like and it's going to be meaningful because we have to do a CSP project together. And that day also met Xiaoting in the early noon to submit tuition grant form and the money for the workshop on Thur - and then went to Mr. Tea (some nice cafe with board games in SM/U) to play Taboo with Huiqi and XT's friend(urm forgot his name). Fun but only played for a short while 'cos had to rush off for class.
Today was 2nd day. Had to wake up super early 'cos of an 830am class. Financial accounting was omg, BORING. But have to get used to all the terms equity revenue asset entity and omg LIABILITIES drive me crazy. Had to get it clear between associate and subsidary companies etc etc zzzzz. Had to eat ricola to keep awake, but at least got participate abit lurh hee. I like my prof's name - Prof
Yay tomorrow's an afternoon class so I can sleep.....darn tired today.
Oh yeah

I like solitude. Haven't had real solitude in a long time. Actually I reminisce of those times in secondary school and JC when both my parents are working and I come home to an empty, silent but eerily peaceful house. Perhaps I'm one who needs my own space; or am I just too used to being alone? Or maybe I'm just tired of incessant nags. =S
Suddenly I wish I'm back in Westmount library in Montreal immersing myself in a Haruki Murakami book. Beats any library in Singapore really, lol. And I know my brother's still missing Montreal very much (:
Semester has started for NUS! My brother, Lydia and others are now off to school early in the morning... and NTU is starting tomorrow for Sarah... :( I'm going to miss them lots. Sarah my dear injured supposed-to-be skating kaki who stays just a block away from me is going to stay in JURONG (ntu hostel) from Monday onwards! Soooo far. Sigh.... sometimes I wonder if I went to NTU instead would things be very different?
Oh ya did a personality test last night which seems surprisingly accurate. You can take it here. I'm an INFJ, haha. According to google results I'm an Author/Protector/Mystic o.O Sounds so Harry Potter-ish. But after reading so much about INFJs I wonder why I'm studying accountancy really -.-
I've been eating ALOT recently. Really alot. And not exercising. (well except my mouth) Seoul Garden for 3 hours, Carls Junior (with yummy cheesy beefy fries), donuts (my father keeps buying them in dozens -.-)... But surprisingly I'm still the same weight! Why ah? Is it because my muscles have turned to fats? (as fats are lighter than muscles) And irritating BTCLC I know you're reading this. Call me hobbit not enough but Sam the hobbit! Grrr...
Okok I'm being like very random today lol.

Simpsons the movie is HILARIOUS. Laughed like from the beginning all the way to the end lurh. Everyone should go watch and laugh your head off! (: Went to watch with my FTB grpmate Timothy haha. Then ate at Sakae 'till damn bloated man. But had lots of fun! :D Maybe can organise an OG outing soon or something, lol.Anyway I've finally gotten over the fact that I've missed A/soc camp, haha. I guess the most important part of camp is the GROUPIES. And nvm I'll have alot of chances to make a/soc friends 'cause I've got 3 years to go! LOL. That's alot of time.... (comforting myself lol)
Heh heh anw Love Today by Mika is addictive...
Doom da da di da di
Doom da da di da di
Everybody's gonna love today, gonna love today, gonna love today
Everybody's gonna love today, gonna love today

And my dad bought back DONUTS from Batam, Indonesia!!! :D YUM.

Thosai with Lydia at Little India was great yesterday. $5 for a huge thosai and 2 samosas is damn reasonable and filling - I think this is our cheapest dinner together yet heh. Can't wait to try the naan or the other rice dishes next time! Then we went over to Kovan macs to have ice cream and talk talk talk. (: Omg Wendy we were so close lurh you could have joined us at macs :( Ok nvm we're going to meet next Wed right, hee. Ok so I sat the nostalgic ride home again, listened to tunes on my walkman phone... took time to drown into the lyrics of some songs.I miss writing poems, really. I lost most of my poems in my previous blog under diaryx.com. :( But nowadays no inspiration eh, haha. So now I just put up some lyrics I find really good.
Ok Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows have arrived at my doorstep!!! LOL. Was so surprised to have received the package so early on the release date. =p Ok I'm going to indulge in it and try to finish it by today because next week is PACKED with activities. Mon - out with Sarah; Tues - out with Tianyun and Clar and then pre-camp dinner; Wed - out with Lydia and Wendy; Thur to Sat - A/soc camp! :D Sheesh time is flying...... ok off to read the last book and find out if Harry dies in the end and whether Dumbledore comes back! I miss Dumbledore :'(

I'm still aching all over. :( But I'm pretty satisfied with life now. Hope time will slow down and let me enjoy every moment of freedom before school starts.. heh. Yes and more time to chillax... a word I learnt during camp: chill + relax = chillax haha and Hoying, stop laughing at me this time I didn't make up this word ok my FTB camp faci did.So I finally watched the most anticipated Harry Potter on Monday with Lydia - which as usual turned out not as fantastic as we thought it would be - this has been the same situation for the past 2 HP movies I think. I enjoyed the book more than the movie but actually Umbridge in the movie made up for it. Haha - her crazy laughter and sadism was pretty cool; made me cringe but that's the purpose right haha. Then Lydia had to go off for tuition :( and I met Wendy at Bugis where we dinner-ed at Clarity Cafe! (: Nice ambience, good food, nice (but super mini) dessert, affordable too.. Then off we walk to Esplanade - I think it's the BEST place to pour out anything and have a good long chat especially at night. No matter the company we'll always stay there for at least 2 hours o.O lol. Talked about guys and how sweet nothings are NOTHING right Wendy? ;p
Then yesterday was orientation at 8.30am - gosh so freaking early - and it was just some career office talk and then promoting of CCAs. Then played station games which was actually quite fun - enjoyed my group people haha. Thought we were actually quite fast but in the end we were actually the 10th or so group to come back heh. Then after orientation went with Hoying to Bugis Terra to lunch before heading back home with Beard Papa, haha. SO yah, today is going to be a slack day (I want to swim but it looks rainy =/) and tomorrow I'm meeting up with Clarissa, and then Friday with Lydia and Wendy (I hope!). Haha I know the people I hang out with are usually the same few but I LOVE them to bits lurh.
Actually during this whole period of time since camp, I finally realised how difficult good friends and certain people come by - it's all God-willing. In primary and secondary school I found it very easy to find friends who are sincere and whom I know will last a lifetime - namely Clarissa, Lydia, Wendy etc.. (is it because of the Christian culture? hmm) However now I feel it's getting more and more difficult to find true friends. Yes that's the word - true friends. I guess time and situations let some go and some stay - and those whom you find still by your side in the end are the ones true to you. But recently some people whom I know will stay a long time came into my life - Hoying, Sarah, Merv.. and I really appreciate them now that I know how difficult it is find such friends. I don't need a whole group of acquaintances - I'd rather a close knit of true friends whom I can talk rubbish to and get away with it anytime. (:
OH yes I forgot to mention that I'm in the same A/soc group with.... HUIQI! OMGOMG how coincidental can it be. When I saw her name in the list of e-mails when our faci sent us the packing list and indemnity form, I was like yay yay yay I have company now haha. So our dinner is postponed to next Tues at glasshouse Fish&Co (noooo I don't want F&Co sigh) - so Hoying, I don't think we're going to have mass group dinners after all :(

Just broke camp today and am freaking shagged. Being the smallest/lightest person in the group definitely has its disadvantages especially in games. -.- I'm the one who's the most man-handled. Such as being carried by guys, not once, not twice, but I think more than three times! GOODNESS I wanna just crawl up and die but I guess it's a camp so we gotta sacrifice and be unglam. Sigh I have bruises and cuts over my knee and one HUGE orh-ba-kak on my left shin and a smaller one on my right. And then pimple outbreak because of not enough sleep. Zzzz. But overall camp was pretty fun especially the games part however am pretty pissed to find out we are not using flying fox and the climbing wall in the end...And yes we slept in tents. LOL not like the NU/S people who have such comfortable hostels to stay in for their camp. :( Oh yeah I was in Cavemen team and we won Best performance skit for campfire, HAHA. It was pretty stupid and funny going up stage and hoogashaga-ing. Fun fun fun. I think campfire night (well not campfire actually more like 4 BBQ pits) and the games were the highlight of the camp. But I feel that this camp has too many DEBRIEFS omg. After one game - debrief. After rafting- debrief. After shower - debrief. And there are like soooo many games during this camp.. debrief until nothing to say lurh. Kinda prefer orientation camp to teambuilding camps but nevertheless, learnt alot during this period of time. But people in my group are nice la, guys very very helpful and gentlemanly and girls very outgoing, facilitator so cute (: BUT BUT BUT there were no accountancy people in my group :( this camp was more overrun with InfoSys people instead. Out of my group of 10 people 6 were from IS. -.- So run 1 was like that - it was pretty smooth-going, not as many hiccups as I thought there would be for the first run of camp.
Ok now I'm more excited for A/soc camp (: Hope its not disappointing! Facilitator just called me during my camp and it was freaking noisy in the background and I had to strain my ears to listen to his stuff. Hmm pre-camp dinner next Sunday! Darn my arms legs back are aching..... Can't wait to sleep heh. And Harry Potter and clarity cafe tomorrow!! :D :D :D So glad to be meeting up with my dearest Lydia and Wendy. So, HOME SWEET HOME man. I miss my bed very very much.
Tuesday, July 10, 2007
Went shopping with Clarissa on Monday and visited the Hokkaido Fair at Tampines Mall, which was freaking crowded man.. tried their melon and green tea icecream which is really yummy heh. Realised quite a number of people I know are going NUS FASS..Actually I'm pretty nervous for camp this week, urgh. Hope the people there are nice.. oh well the person refused to put me and Hoying into the same group -.- Haha yeah, hope the camp will be fun........
Finally I'm smiling again. Although it was just a few minutes, it was enough to make my day (: Sounds corny but it felt as if the skies are finally clear after a week of rain.

Today was quite interesting at church because I saw Loraine!!! LOL. She came to my church to witness one of her friend's baptism and it was such a surprise seeing her (: Great catching up with her, plus buffet lunch with Evelyn Carmen Janice ... hee.Shall just list down some activities coming up for SMU/:
13-15July - FTB Camp
17July - Orientation
26-28July - Asoc Camp
14-16Aug - SMUX Camp
18Aug - Convocation
20Aug - School starts!!! =/
24Aug - CCA Day
Yikes. I know my school starts later than the other universities but still, sighhhh 10 months of holiday just flew like that, haha. Oh well.... I guess I've slacked enough. So far I've only worked for 1 month hahahahaa shucks. I spend wayyyyyyy more than I earn. Maybe I should take up a part-time job while studying in uni like Janice - if schoolwork is not overwhelming hee.
Ok I need to exercise, swim moreeee, cycle moreeee. And yay I'm meeting Clarissa tomorrow.....

A pretty busy week; I'm freaking shagged now - I think I'll immediately zzz when I plonk on my bed later. Warning: long entry ahead.Tuesday was not-very-successful blading with Huiqi at ECP. But nevertheless it was sooooo nice to see her after super duper long! Heh heh, I think I fell down more than her but heck, at least I was able to move LOL. Needs more practice larh. Somehow, after blading I got 4 mosquito bites on my right leg and 2 on my right -.- *Prays that I don't get dengue..... read that symptoms of dengue only appears after a week - note to self: check next Tuesday for high fever..
Wednesday was Transformers and dinner with Sarah my ex-jap classmate. Transformers was like damnnnnnnnnn GOOD. Beats Shrek and Spiderman 3 HANDS DOWN. Some were saying it's a 'guy' movie but it's NOT at all!!!! Hellooo- co-producer is Steven Spielberg of course there'd be some standard right. It's the movie to watch this year - other than maybe Harry Potter but it hasn't come out so it's not counted yet heh. Alot of movies to look forward man, can't wait for Simpsons muahah the trailer was hilarious esp the 'Spider-pig' part. And of course Harry Potter.. Anyway was really really nice catching up and having the heart-to-heart talk with Sarah... so sad that we're not going to the same uni :( Walked home together and felt so nostalgic because in the past we would always walk home together after jap class at Eastpoint heh. Ahhh when she goes NTU she'll be staying in hostel and it will become so freaking difficult to meet up urgh.
Ok today was SMU/ matriculation with Hoying, and we were bombarded by seniors who are super enthu about CIP projects. Seriously I haven't seen any students SO enthu about CIP until I came to SMU/, haha. Have to complete 80 hours or else cannot graduate, heh. OK so I signed up for 3 camps all the best to me haha. The compulsory Freshman Teambuilding Camp which is next Friday , Accountancy camp and SMUX camp (they pronounce it as 'smucks' lol I just realised today). I'll be getting at least 3 SMU/ shirts -.- And also got to sign up for some CIP projects.... but of course not confirm going for all. Just gotta find one which can give me 80 hours so I can graduate, haha - perhaps an overseas or NDP project hee.
Then after that we hung out at Raffles shopping centre and ogled at the neverending (and never-moving) line at donut factory while having coffee and cake at Gloria Jean's, lol. Walked aimlessly around Eplanade library.. then took 70 towards Serangoon gardens to meet Lydia for dinner! Heh had communication problems which made me waste a bus trip -.- but nevertheless had a great Vietnamese dinner and then dessert at Cafe Cartel hee. Talked alot of crap but loved every bit of it. Heh the dress-up party topic was the funniest man, samurai and flasher-wannabe eh Lydia? Ah, pity Wendy couldn't join us because she had work at her dance place :( Then took the looooong 53 bus trip home which was another freaking nostalgic moment for me because I used to take that long ride home after school during PL days hee.
Wah, so I only reached home around 11 plus pm and I'm freaking tired, exhausted and sneezing. Urgh stupid sensitive nose. And tomorrow gonna meet up with Phyllis and Hoying for lunch. Then I don't know what after that - perhaps shopping. I NEED more clothes. (not want anymore, haha) Ok I'm off to zzz.....
Eh random: I think Zijie from CSS2 looks like Jay Chou. Cute. Ok end of randomness, ha.

Pretty happening the past few days. Friday we had a very 'special' birthday celebration for dear Lydia and Jesslyn at Holland V. Treated them to hawker food and then brought them to Wala Wala where they had their surprise birthday cakes and presents! Heh... hope you guys enjoyed the surprise! Love you guys heaps. Then we bus-ed to town and played pool at Lucky Plaza until 11pm before heading home. Then had a last minute decision to stayover at Wendy's! LOL. Had a really fun time crapping the night through and then sleeping at 4am. Haven't done that in a while.... :D But I hate the aftermath of stayover - was sleepy the whole day because at 9am while sleeping soundly a really out-of-tune neighbour singing karaoke to Lin JJ woke me up and after that it was damn difficult to go back to sleep -.- Must be the traumatising singing.Ahh met dearest Carmen in church 2nd service after soooooooooooo long. Really reminisce those times when we were involved in the choir and cantata :( Oh well at least we caught up today hee. Missed you alot larh. (:
And I found one more person who's going SMU/ accountancy - Xiaoting! Whom I met from a camp we attended when we were PRIMARY SIX?!!! That's like 6 years ago.. gosh. She found my email address in the recipient list of the email about the accountancy camp, and then chatted with me on MSN, haha. Exciting stuff.
Okay a pretty busy week ahead with some tentative plans like matriculation day with Ho Ying, blading with Huiqi, dinner with Jap ex-classmates, Arab Street/mustafa thosai with Lydia (Wendy can you make it??)... and I'm still considering whether to sign up for driving soon -.- LOL. Can't imagine I procrastinated from the start of the holidays until now. And not sure whether to take up tuition jobs too, not sure if I'll be able to cope when uni starts. Plus I still haven't gone shopping! I better hurry before GSS ends..... AND I WANT TO WATCH TRANSFORMERS!!!! Heh.
Sometimes I feel that I care too much :(

Watched Ocean's Thirteen with HOHO ying yesterday after her medical checkup. George Clooney just reeks of charisma, haha. Draggy at first, but great in the middle and the end. Very very smart plot. Anyway Hoying, Serene logic = accurate logic k. Hmph. Anyway saw quite a few nice stuff to buy at Tampines Mall..... heh heh. The lure of GSS.Today I finally met up with Siti and Tiffany Su as well at J8! Dang - what a place to meet up... reminds me of PL days. Then went to AMK library which was such a dumb idea because we should have gone to the brand new Bishan library instead! Bleah, travel all the way down might as well visit the new library right, haaa. And on the way home I bumped into CGH's HR secretary and had a chat home on the bus.. felt nice and a 'lil nostalgic to see someone from CGH since I left like... 2 months ago? LOL. I wanna go back to work but don't have the time to...
Just viewed SMU/ academic calendar - Hmm well I start school 20 Aug and week break 8 Oct then exams 26 Nov and weeeee holidays 3 Dec - 6 Jan. Short semester huh? But think its going to be PACKED. I'm excited yet very scared for uni to start..
Ok tomorrow I'm going to make use of the new squash racket that I got.... hopefully the lazy bug doesn't get me first, muahah.
If you didn't even bother, why should I? =/

A whole array of emotions hit me today.Pain, disappointment, helplessness.. then numbness.
Regret - that I've not done anything, even if it means to nag or appear like a goody-two-shoes, when I've first found out that she's gone astray. Now that it has come to such a point, there is no turning back time to make the wrong right again. But thinking back, the only person who can help the situation is herself. The one making the decision is her, and the one who's in control is her. But still - I should have done more. :( Perhaps this wouldn't have happened if I did something to wake her up....
Oh well I guess it's no use raking up the past.
I can feel the distance between us is growing further and further... is this how it's going to end?

This evening I visited Tampines Regional Library in search for Haruki Marukami or Marilyn Todd books but to no avail. And I would keep hanging around the MUR and TOD sections just to check if anyone or the librarian has put in a new book there, I would go back there so many times I think the people who are sitting around those sections must be very irritated with my pacing around them. Urgh, Tampines library has a very limited variety of books :( so next time I'm going to try Bedok, Pasir Ris or Marine Parade. Maybe the National library too, haven't been there for a long time - but I think I'll be going there often when I start school at SMU since it's so nearby, heh.Anyway, visiting TRL today was very nostalgic. Seeing so many teenagers studying/doing homework/checking handphones/listening to music at the study tables and flipping through their notes and practising mathematical sums really brought back memories of my mugging for the prelim exams and A'levels... Reminiscing the constant search of an empty table (preferably in the corner of the room); but in the end always having to share tables with teenage couples or uncles reading newspaper in the middle of the room -.- I can remember feeling their stares on me when I take out my maths or chem TYS and calculator/periodic table from my bag and trying very hard to ignore them and focus on my work. Not an easy feat. I remember feeling very frustrated over 3D trigo and tearing out foolscap after foolscap paper because I couldn't stand my untidy scribbling. Wah... damn nostalgic man. Today I kept glancing into the same room I always studied in and tried to imagine me as one of those students studying haha gosh. (: It seemed like just yesterday....... but it has been over 6 months ago o.O Just another reminder of how time FLIES.
And it's Friday already!!! Primary, secondary schools, polytechnics and JCs are reopening next Monday already....... lucky for me mine opens in August, ha.

Medical checkup in the morning at the airport Raffles Medical Clinic (why must SMU be sooooo different?!) because the Tampines branch is fully booked until July - and that's Matriculation day already and GST hiked up to 7%. So must hurry do now..SO, I stupidly went to the toilet before the checkup. -.- Which resulted me in spending half an hour in the toilet drinking tap water because there is NO pee for the urine test, LOL. So embarassing, the x-ray guy had to call me on my handphone to check if I'm alright because the chest x-ray was next. The height-and-weight guy also commented 'You in the toilet so long ah?'; and when he was measuring my height he went 'So cute, 152.7cm' -.-||| Then when had to lie on the bed to let the doctor check my tummy, I climbed the small chair beside the bed to get onto it and he was like 'Eh got stair one, no need to climb the chair' and pulled out a staircase from under the bed. GOSH. One medical checkup can have so many stupid moments. But nvm, these can be lessons for those who haven't gone for the checkup:
1. Don't go toilet before checkup.
2. Don't climb chairs - look for stairs instead.
3. Cannot be short. (ahh but that can't be helped :( )
Anyway this is my first time doing chest x-ray. COOL! Have to wear a really long gown which swept the floor whenever I walk, ha. See I help to clean the clinic..
Then at evening met up with Clarissa at the airport and had heart-to-heart talk. :D She even went to the carpark to scream. But I still Love her. Went home at 1030pm - and the weather is freaking humid now, perspired when walking from Eastpoint to my home. That seldom happened at night during January to March period! :(
Interesting stuff about the people/lifestyle in US/Canada:
1. Everywhere you go you see babies, babies and MORE babies! They really love to make families and children.. unlike Singaporeans
2. Everyone, absolutely EVERYONE stands on the right side of the escalator and lets people in a hurry go up/down the left side - not the same situation in S'pore... hmm.
3. They are VERY good jaywalkers, even when the green man is about to be on, they STILL jaywalk no matter what
4. GST up to 7% we complain already. Over there their GST is 17%, and in restaurants/eating places that's WITHOUT tips - tips is usually an extra 10%

6. They LOVE the grass (like me! but not in Singapore) Everywhere that has at least a patch of grass - you'll see people lying, suntanning, sitting, picnic-ing, lazing there. In Singapore if we do that we'll have major ant/caterpillar/worm/disgusting insect attacks
7. Their sweepers, waiters and toilet cleaners are surprisingly all local angmohs! And they are young and goodlooking ones too....... I remember one looking like Josh Groban o.O
