I like solitude. Haven't had real solitude in a long time. Actually I reminisce of those times in secondary school and JC when both my parents are working and I come home to an empty, silent but eerily peaceful house. Perhaps I'm one who needs my own space; or am I just too used to being alone? Or maybe I'm just tired of incessant nags. =S
Suddenly I wish I'm back in Westmount library in Montreal immersing myself in a Haruki Murakami book. Beats any library in Singapore really, lol. And I know my brother's still missing Montreal very much (:
Semester has started for NUS! My brother, Lydia and others are now off to school early in the morning... and NTU is starting tomorrow for Sarah... :( I'm going to miss them lots. Sarah my dear injured supposed-to-be skating kaki who stays just a block away from me is going to stay in JURONG (ntu hostel) from Monday onwards! Soooo far. Sigh.... sometimes I wonder if I went to NTU instead would things be very different?
Oh ya did a personality test last night which seems surprisingly accurate. You can take it here. I'm an INFJ, haha. According to google results I'm an Author/Protector/Mystic o.O Sounds so Harry Potter-ish. But after reading so much about INFJs I wonder why I'm studying accountancy really -.-
I've been eating ALOT recently. Really alot. And not exercising. (well except my mouth) Seoul Garden for 3 hours, Carls Junior (with yummy cheesy beefy fries), donuts (my father keeps buying them in dozens -.-)... But surprisingly I'm still the same weight! Why ah? Is it because my muscles have turned to fats? (as fats are lighter than muscles) And irritating BTCLC I know you're reading this. Call me hobbit not enough but Sam the hobbit! Grrr...
Okok I'm being like very random today lol.

Finally finished Harry Potter's last book! >.< What an achievement. However took a little long, heard others have finished the book in 4 hours. -.- Nonetheless feeling a little nostalgic because everything's over. :( Ok shall not blog any spoilers or else those who haven't read will avada kedavra me. Anyway the last book has got to be the best of all 7 - and 2nd best the Half-blood Prince. Answered most of my doubts/questions. Though a little draggy in the middle, but still the ending made up for it. These 2 books stirred the most emotions in me. I remembered crying when I read the part where Dumbledore was killed by Snape in HBP. But things aren't as they seem after all. Oh well... time to get back to reality... ha. Can't wait for the movies to come out (:Labels: book, interesting

I know I'm slow but this made me cry.Her voice is sooooooo sweet and absolutely pitch-perfect. And she's only 6 years old! Though she didn't win she certainly touched the hearts of many. Britain's Got Talent is such a good show - I remember watching some episodes of it while I was traveling in London (:

Medical checkup in the morning at the airport Raffles Medical Clinic (why must SMU be sooooo different?!) because the Tampines branch is fully booked until July - and that's Matriculation day already and GST hiked up to 7%. So must hurry do now..SO, I stupidly went to the toilet before the checkup. -.- Which resulted me in spending half an hour in the toilet drinking tap water because there is NO pee for the urine test, LOL. So embarassing, the x-ray guy had to call me on my handphone to check if I'm alright because the chest x-ray was next. The height-and-weight guy also commented 'You in the toilet so long ah?'; and when he was measuring my height he went 'So cute, 152.7cm' -.-||| Then when had to lie on the bed to let the doctor check my tummy, I climbed the small chair beside the bed to get onto it and he was like 'Eh got stair one, no need to climb the chair' and pulled out a staircase from under the bed. GOSH. One medical checkup can have so many stupid moments. But nvm, these can be lessons for those who haven't gone for the checkup:
1. Don't go toilet before checkup.
2. Don't climb chairs - look for stairs instead.
3. Cannot be short. (ahh but that can't be helped :( )
Anyway this is my first time doing chest x-ray. COOL! Have to wear a really long gown which swept the floor whenever I walk, ha. See I help to clean the clinic..
Then at evening met up with Clarissa at the airport and had heart-to-heart talk. :D She even went to the carpark to scream. But I still Love her. Went home at 1030pm - and the weather is freaking humid now, perspired when walking from Eastpoint to my home. That seldom happened at night during January to March period! :(
Interesting stuff about the people/lifestyle in US/Canada:
1. Everywhere you go you see babies, babies and MORE babies! They really love to make families and children.. unlike Singaporeans
2. Everyone, absolutely EVERYONE stands on the right side of the escalator and lets people in a hurry go up/down the left side - not the same situation in S'pore... hmm.
3. They are VERY good jaywalkers, even when the green man is about to be on, they STILL jaywalk no matter what
4. GST up to 7% we complain already. Over there their GST is 17%, and in restaurants/eating places that's WITHOUT tips - tips is usually an extra 10%
5. They automatically throw away their rubbish and put back their foodtrays after eating at fastfood restaurants or food courts. Note: automatically
6. They LOVE the grass (like me! but not in Singapore) Everywhere that has at least a patch of grass - you'll see people lying, suntanning, sitting, picnic-ing, lazing there. In Singapore if we do that we'll have major ant/caterpillar/worm/disgusting insect attacks
7. Their sweepers, waiters and toilet cleaners are surprisingly all local angmohs! And they are young and goodlooking ones too....... I remember one looking like Josh Groban o.O
Alright, very tired now. Zzz time!
