Simpsons the movie is HILARIOUS. Laughed like from the beginning all the way to the end lurh. Everyone should go watch and laugh your head off! (: Went to watch with my FTB grpmate Timothy haha. Then ate at Sakae 'till damn bloated man. But had lots of fun! :D Maybe can organise an OG outing soon or something, lol.Anyway I've finally gotten over the fact that I've missed A/soc camp, haha. I guess the most important part of camp is the GROUPIES. And nvm I'll have alot of chances to make a/soc friends 'cause I've got 3 years to go! LOL. That's alot of time.... (comforting myself lol)

Finally finished Harry Potter's last book! >.< What an achievement. However took a little long, heard others have finished the book in 4 hours. -.- Nonetheless feeling a little nostalgic because everything's over. :( Ok shall not blog any spoilers or else those who haven't read will avada kedavra me. Anyway the last book has got to be the best of all 7 - and 2nd best the Half-blood Prince. Answered most of my doubts/questions. Though a little draggy in the middle, but still the ending made up for it. These 2 books stirred the most emotions in me. I remembered crying when I read the part where Dumbledore was killed by Snape in HBP. But things aren't as they seem after all. Oh well... time to get back to reality... ha. Can't wait for the movies to come out (:Labels: book, interesting

Thosai with Lydia at Little India was great yesterday. $5 for a huge thosai and 2 samosas is damn reasonable and filling - I think this is our cheapest dinner together yet heh. Can't wait to try the naan or the other rice dishes next time! Then we went over to Kovan macs to have ice cream and talk talk talk. (: Omg Wendy we were so close lurh you could have joined us at macs :( Ok nvm we're going to meet next Wed right, hee. Ok so I sat the nostalgic ride home again, listened to tunes on my walkman phone... took time to drown into the lyrics of some songs.I miss writing poems, really. I lost most of my poems in my previous blog under diaryx.com. :( But nowadays no inspiration eh, haha. So now I just put up some lyrics I find really good.
Ok Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows have arrived at my doorstep!!! LOL. Was so surprised to have received the package so early on the release date. =p Ok I'm going to indulge in it and try to finish it by today because next week is PACKED with activities. Mon - out with Sarah; Tues - out with Tianyun and Clar and then pre-camp dinner; Wed - out with Lydia and Wendy; Thur to Sat - A/soc camp! :D Sheesh time is flying...... ok off to read the last book and find out if Harry dies in the end and whether Dumbledore comes back! I miss Dumbledore :'(

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorryYou don't know how lovely you are.
I had to find you, tell you I need you,
Tell you I set you apart.
Nobody said it was easy,
It's such a shame for us to part.
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be this hard.
Oh take me back to the start.

I'm still aching all over. :( But I'm pretty satisfied with life now. Hope time will slow down and let me enjoy every moment of freedom before school starts.. heh. Yes and more time to chillax... a word I learnt during camp: chill + relax = chillax haha and Hoying, stop laughing at me this time I didn't make up this word ok my FTB camp faci did.So I finally watched the most anticipated Harry Potter on Monday with Lydia - which as usual turned out not as fantastic as we thought it would be - this has been the same situation for the past 2 HP movies I think. I enjoyed the book more than the movie but actually Umbridge in the movie made up for it. Haha - her crazy laughter and sadism was pretty cool; made me cringe but that's the purpose right haha. Then Lydia had to go off for tuition :( and I met Wendy at Bugis where we dinner-ed at Clarity Cafe! (: Nice ambience, good food, nice (but super mini) dessert, affordable too.. Then off we walk to Esplanade - I think it's the BEST place to pour out anything and have a good long chat especially at night. No matter the company we'll always stay there for at least 2 hours o.O lol. Talked about guys and how sweet nothings are NOTHING right Wendy? ;p
Then yesterday was orientation at 8.30am - gosh so freaking early - and it was just some career office talk and then promoting of CCAs. Then played station games which was actually quite fun - enjoyed my group people haha. Thought we were actually quite fast but in the end we were actually the 10th or so group to come back heh. Then after orientation went with Hoying to Bugis Terra to lunch before heading back home with Beard Papa, haha. SO yah, today is going to be a slack day (I want to swim but it looks rainy =/) and tomorrow I'm meeting up with Clarissa, and then Friday with Lydia and Wendy (I hope!). Haha I know the people I hang out with are usually the same few but I LOVE them to bits lurh.
Actually during this whole period of time since camp, I finally realised how difficult good friends and certain people come by - it's all God-willing. In primary and secondary school I found it very easy to find friends who are sincere and whom I know will last a lifetime - namely Clarissa, Lydia, Wendy etc.. (is it because of the Christian culture? hmm) However now I feel it's getting more and more difficult to find true friends. Yes that's the word - true friends. I guess time and situations let some go and some stay - and those whom you find still by your side in the end are the ones true to you. But recently some people whom I know will stay a long time came into my life - Hoying, Sarah, Merv.. and I really appreciate them now that I know how difficult it is find such friends. I don't need a whole group of acquaintances - I'd rather a close knit of true friends whom I can talk rubbish to and get away with it anytime. (:
OH yes I forgot to mention that I'm in the same A/soc group with.... HUIQI! OMGOMG how coincidental can it be. When I saw her name in the list of e-mails when our faci sent us the packing list and indemnity form, I was like yay yay yay I have company now haha. So our dinner is postponed to next Tues at glasshouse Fish&Co (noooo I don't want F&Co sigh) - so Hoying, I don't think we're going to have mass group dinners after all :(

Just broke camp today and am freaking shagged. Being the smallest/lightest person in the group definitely has its disadvantages especially in games. -.- I'm the one who's the most man-handled. Such as being carried by guys, not once, not twice, but I think more than three times! GOODNESS I wanna just crawl up and die but I guess it's a camp so we gotta sacrifice and be unglam. Sigh I have bruises and cuts over my knee and one HUGE orh-ba-kak on my left shin and a smaller one on my right. And then pimple outbreak because of not enough sleep. Zzzz. But overall camp was pretty fun especially the games part however am pretty pissed to find out we are not using flying fox and the climbing wall in the end...And yes we slept in tents. LOL not like the NU/S people who have such comfortable hostels to stay in for their camp. :( Oh yeah I was in Cavemen team and we won Best performance skit for campfire, HAHA. It was pretty stupid and funny going up stage and hoogashaga-ing. Fun fun fun. I think campfire night (well not campfire actually more like 4 BBQ pits) and the games were the highlight of the camp. But I feel that this camp has too many DEBRIEFS omg. After one game - debrief. After rafting- debrief. After shower - debrief. And there are like soooo many games during this camp.. debrief until nothing to say lurh. Kinda prefer orientation camp to teambuilding camps but nevertheless, learnt alot during this period of time. But people in my group are nice la, guys very very helpful and gentlemanly and girls very outgoing, facilitator so cute (: BUT BUT BUT there were no accountancy people in my group :( this camp was more overrun with InfoSys people instead. Out of my group of 10 people 6 were from IS. -.- So run 1 was like that - it was pretty smooth-going, not as many hiccups as I thought there would be for the first run of camp.
Ok now I'm more excited for A/soc camp (: Hope its not disappointing! Facilitator just called me during my camp and it was freaking noisy in the background and I had to strain my ears to listen to his stuff. Hmm pre-camp dinner next Sunday! Darn my arms legs back are aching..... Can't wait to sleep heh. And Harry Potter and clarity cafe tomorrow!! :D :D :D So glad to be meeting up with my dearest Lydia and Wendy. So, HOME SWEET HOME man. I miss my bed very very much.

Went shopping with Clarissa on Monday and visited the Hokkaido Fair at Tampines Mall, which was freaking crowded man.. tried their melon and green tea icecream which is really yummy heh. Realised quite a number of people I know are going NUS FASS..Actually I'm pretty nervous for camp this week, urgh. Hope the people there are nice.. oh well the person refused to put me and Hoying into the same group -.- Haha yeah, hope the camp will be fun........
Finally I'm smiling again. Although it was just a few minutes, it was enough to make my day (: Sounds corny but it felt as if the skies are finally clear after a week of rain.

Today was quite interesting at church because I saw Loraine!!! LOL. She came to my church to witness one of her friend's baptism and it was such a surprise seeing her (: Great catching up with her, plus buffet lunch with Evelyn Carmen Janice ... hee.Shall just list down some activities coming up for SMU/:
13-15July - FTB Camp
17July - Orientation
26-28July - Asoc Camp
14-16Aug - SMUX Camp
18Aug - Convocation
20Aug - School starts!!! =/
24Aug - CCA Day
Yikes. I know my school starts later than the other universities but still, sighhhh 10 months of holiday just flew like that, haha. Oh well.... I guess I've slacked enough. So far I've only worked for 1 month hahahahaa shucks. I spend wayyyyyyy more than I earn. Maybe I should take up a part-time job while studying in uni like Janice - if schoolwork is not overwhelming hee.
Ok I need to exercise, swim moreeee, cycle moreeee. And yay I'm meeting Clarissa tomorrow.....

I know I'm slow but this made me cry.Her voice is sooooooo sweet and absolutely pitch-perfect. And she's only 6 years old! Though she didn't win she certainly touched the hearts of many. Britain's Got Talent is such a good show - I remember watching some episodes of it while I was traveling in London (:

A pretty busy week; I'm freaking shagged now - I think I'll immediately zzz when I plonk on my bed later. Warning: long entry ahead.Tuesday was not-very-successful blading with Huiqi at ECP. But nevertheless it was sooooo nice to see her after super duper long! Heh heh, I think I fell down more than her but heck, at least I was able to move LOL. Needs more practice larh. Somehow, after blading I got 4 mosquito bites on my right leg and 2 on my right -.- *Prays that I don't get dengue..... read that symptoms of dengue only appears after a week - note to self: check next Tuesday for high fever..
Wednesday was Transformers and dinner with Sarah my ex-jap classmate. Transformers was like damnnnnnnnnn GOOD. Beats Shrek and Spiderman 3 HANDS DOWN. Some were saying it's a 'guy' movie but it's NOT at all!!!! Hellooo- co-producer is Steven Spielberg of course there'd be some standard right. It's the movie to watch this year - other than maybe Harry Potter but it hasn't come out so it's not counted yet heh. Alot of movies to look forward man, can't wait for Simpsons muahah the trailer was hilarious esp the 'Spider-pig' part. And of course Harry Potter.. Anyway was really really nice catching up and having the heart-to-heart talk with Sarah... so sad that we're not going to the same uni :( Walked home together and felt so nostalgic because in the past we would always walk home together after jap class at Eastpoint heh. Ahhh when she goes NTU she'll be staying in hostel and it will become so freaking difficult to meet up urgh.
Ok today was SMU/ matriculation with Hoying, and we were bombarded by seniors who are super enthu about CIP projects. Seriously I haven't seen any students SO enthu about CIP until I came to SMU/, haha. Have to complete 80 hours or else cannot graduate, heh. OK so I signed up for 3 camps all the best to me haha. The compulsory Freshman Teambuilding Camp which is next Friday , Accountancy camp and SMUX camp (they pronounce it as 'smucks' lol I just realised today). I'll be getting at least 3 SMU/ shirts -.- And also got to sign up for some CIP projects.... but of course not confirm going for all. Just gotta find one which can give me 80 hours so I can graduate, haha - perhaps an overseas or NDP project hee.
Then after that we hung out at Raffles shopping centre and ogled at the neverending (and never-moving) line at donut factory while having coffee and cake at Gloria Jean's, lol. Walked aimlessly around Eplanade library.. then took 70 towards Serangoon gardens to meet Lydia for dinner! Heh had communication problems which made me waste a bus trip -.- but nevertheless had a great Vietnamese dinner and then dessert at Cafe Cartel hee. Talked alot of crap but loved every bit of it. Heh the dress-up party topic was the funniest man, samurai and flasher-wannabe eh Lydia? Ah, pity Wendy couldn't join us because she had work at her dance place :( Then took the looooong 53 bus trip home which was another freaking nostalgic moment for me because I used to take that long ride home after school during PL days hee.
Wah, so I only reached home around 11 plus pm and I'm freaking tired, exhausted and sneezing. Urgh stupid sensitive nose. And tomorrow gonna meet up with Phyllis and Hoying for lunch. Then I don't know what after that - perhaps shopping. I NEED more clothes. (not want anymore, haha) Ok I'm off to zzz.....
Eh random: I think Zijie from CSS2 looks like Jay Chou. Cute. Ok end of randomness, ha.

Pretty happening the past few days. Friday we had a very 'special' birthday celebration for dear Lydia and Jesslyn at Holland V. Treated them to hawker food and then brought them to Wala Wala where they had their surprise birthday cakes and presents! Heh... hope you guys enjoyed the surprise! Love you guys heaps. Then we bus-ed to town and played pool at Lucky Plaza until 11pm before heading home. Then had a last minute decision to stayover at Wendy's! LOL. Had a really fun time crapping the night through and then sleeping at 4am. Haven't done that in a while.... :D But I hate the aftermath of stayover - was sleepy the whole day because at 9am while sleeping soundly a really out-of-tune neighbour singing karaoke to Lin JJ woke me up and after that it was damn difficult to go back to sleep -.- Must be the traumatising singing.Ahh met dearest Carmen in church 2nd service after soooooooooooo long. Really reminisce those times when we were involved in the choir and cantata :( Oh well at least we caught up today hee. Missed you alot larh. (:
And I found one more person who's going SMU/ accountancy - Xiaoting! Whom I met from a camp we attended when we were PRIMARY SIX?!!! That's like 6 years ago.. gosh. She found my email address in the recipient list of the email about the accountancy camp, and then chatted with me on MSN, haha. Exciting stuff.
Okay a pretty busy week ahead with some tentative plans like matriculation day with Ho Ying, blading with Huiqi, dinner with Jap ex-classmates, Arab Street/mustafa thosai with Lydia (Wendy can you make it??)... and I'm still considering whether to sign up for driving soon -.- LOL. Can't imagine I procrastinated from the start of the holidays until now. And not sure whether to take up tuition jobs too, not sure if I'll be able to cope when uni starts. Plus I still haven't gone shopping! I better hurry before GSS ends..... AND I WANT TO WATCH TRANSFORMERS!!!! Heh.
Sometimes I feel that I care too much :(
how I wish I can just say
